How can we help

We build web services, portals, and mobile apps, implement AI, and promote products in search and in AI answers. We work with businesses in the EU, US, and UK.

The easiest way to start is a quick assessment: it’s free and comes with no commitment. Tell us the task — we’ll get back with a timeline and a price range.

Which CMS to choose in 2022? The best CMS platforms according to trusted sources.

Which CMS to choose in 2022? The best CMS platforms according to trusted sources.

Brief

You choose a CMS not by popularity, but by answers to four questions: what problems the project solves, what load to expect, who will maintain the site, and what the growth budget is. This determines the “framework + CMS” pairing, not the other way around.

  • A studio that works on only one platform fits the task to the tool.
  • The stack defines timelines, support cost, and the project’s growth ceiling.
  • The choice is locked in before design: moving an existing site to another CMS costs as much as a new project.

Which platform should you choose? A common question clients ask themselves when selecting a web developer for a new project. Let’s break this down in detail, because it really is an important question that will affect the project’s future—its quality, timeline, and budget.

You need to answer at least 4 questions to choose the RIGHT technology stack, so companies that say, we work on Xxxxxxxx and nothing else, create comfortable conditions only for themselves, leaving the client without the right choice and either lose quality or inflate the budget on a project that doesn’t require it.

Here is the minimum list of questions:

  • the project’s purpose, functionality, complexity
  • growth prospects, traffic
  • budget
  • timeline

By purpose and complexity, we’ll define it like this

  • simple website
  • mid-level (standard) complex project
  • complex web service

By prospects

  • static (just to have something)
  • dynamic (standard, updates, ease of use)
  • we’ll grow (high traffic, server load, development)

Budget

  • cheap
  • there are constraints, but it’s better not to lose quality
  • do it properly

Timeline

  • yesterday
  • 2-3 months
  • there’s time for a high-quality implementation

If we put this data into a table, we get a fairly logical matrix where you can’t mix up the answers: a fast site can only be simple and inexpensive; a complex one, accordingly, will cost more and the timelines will match. In other words, you can’t build a complex web service aimed at high traffic in 1 day, and a simple static site shouldn’t be expensive.

As a result, we ended up with a table that lets you choose the right technology without increasing the budget and without losing quality, while meeting both the goals and the deadlines.
